What Will I Make Wednesday: Modge Podge Vintage Suitcase

After a day of thrifting at my local Goodwill I came across this adorable 1950′s or 60′s suitcase! And while I love pink, I decided to recycle the fabric from a dress that no longer fits me and add a bit of my personal style to this vintage suitcase! Read on for this tutorial that is super easy and personalized!

Materials

  • A Vintage Suitcase

  • Modge Podge
  • A Paint Brush
  • Scissors
  • Screw Drivers

  1. Measure out the fabric over the suitcase so that the fabric hangs a bit over the edge.

2. Next using a paint brush, spread a thin and even layer of Modge Podge, and pull the fabric a bit tightly over it to avoid any air bubbles. I found it best to do this step in sections and pull the fabric toward you each time.

3. Next, use the screw driver to push the excess fabric under the lid of the suitcase.

And Voila! I simply love my newly update suitcase!

I am super excited to use this suitcase for my shorter vacations or day trips this upcoming summer!
